Karla Costa

Dr. Costa is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico and moved to Texas at the age of 7. She always knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian from a young age. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in 2002 and then attended Western University of Health Science in California for her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Throughout the years she has practiced small animal and exotic medicine with special interest in soft tissue surgery, dentistry and acupuncture.

Dr. Costa’s household includes her two young sons, husband and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her active family, reading and traveling.
